God tends to do things far differently than we would, and there is no better example of this than the fact that the only people he invited to the birth of Jesus were the humble and lowly shepherds around bethlehem. No royalty, no priests, no celebrities or wealthy or powerful people. In God's Kingdom, those who are honoured most highly are often completely overlooked on earth. As believers, who are we focused on? Who do we care about? Who would we have invited?
